Problem:

AXOL had been given the keys to their new office in Leeds but were unsure about what was in place or available regarding connectivity. They had been given a quote for a leased line by another supplier, however nothing in terms of hardware options.

They needed an experienced IT solutions provider to partner with.

Solution:

We carried out a site visit to understand the business requirements and were able to beat the leased line quote they had already received, also providing a much faster connection speed to what had been proposed.

Whilst waiting for the new leased line installation, we loaned them a 5G Wi-Fi router to enable staff to start working.

The office had CAT5e network cabling which we reworked - carefully cutting, re-terminating, patching, and testing every cable run to ensure optimal performance.

Next, we deployed an impressive setup featuring Ubiquiti equipment, including a Lite16 POE switch and a UniFi Express Cloud Gateway. These compact devices deliver serious power while keeping things sleek and modern!

All being managed by a fantastic cloud portal, giving some amazing features such as Advanced Reporting, Wi-Fi 6, Meshing and an Application-Aware Firewall.
